Ash Biomedical has signed a technology transfer agreement for the local assembly and manufacturing of in-vitro diagnostic kits in Nigeria — a landmark step in the company’s long-term strategy to build end-to-end IVD production capacity on the continent.
This agreement represents a privately led commitment to health sovereignty and import substitution. When operational, the facility will manufacture affordable rapid diagnostic tests for the Nigerian market, reducing the country’s dependence on imported health supplies and strengthening the domestic health supply chain.
